Dalton Matatia 2006
80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc. Matatia is Dalton's premium blend made only in exceptional years. The wine is named after Mat Haruni, the visionary behind Dalton Winery. The grapes are sourced from the most outstanding and established vineyards in the Upper Galilee and the wine is aged for two years in small French barrels, it is then further classified so that only the very best quality makes it into the final blend. Matatia is a wine of substance that shows off the best qualities of Dalton and its vineyards and will age gracefully over the years.
