I did not know how great a sweet wine could be until I tried this.

Golden in color, with fine concentration and balance and developing deep honeyed spices. On the nose and palate dried apricots, orange peel, toasty oak, and tropical fruits that come in towards the long caressing finish.

A truly wonderful bottle! Layers and layers of aromas and flavors, with peaches, apricots, and tropical fruits showing one after the other. Very complex, with a finish that stays for a long, long time. Concentrated and sweet, this wine can stand up to any dessert. If you like dessert wines, this is a true standout. Probably the best kosher dessert wine out there (in my opinion, better than the top kosher Sauternes).

Surprisingly more like a Sauternes than any other vintage of this wine that I have tasted in the past. Not quite as a great a value as it used to be, but is more complex than most other Kosher dessert wines out there right now. Would be interesting to see what this is like in 4-7 years. 2003 is a very strong vintage for Israeli wines up and down.
