Chateau Leoville Poyferre produces elegant, refined, complex and well-balanced wines known for their intense color and velvety texture. They are excellent keeping wines.

Winemaker's Note
Carefully selected, the Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes exhibit a purple dress, intense, with the flavors of black fruits, raspberry and blackberry, with a flattering and refined mouth and a very long finish. The Chateau Leoville Poyferre, like all the St. Julien wines, is a wine of very long aging and will open itself completely to lovers of fine wine after 2008.
Best served with dark meats veal and spicy chicken.

Vintage 2002
A wonderful shabbos wine. Silky smooth with definite oakey overtones, hints of vanilla, and a delightful finish that makes you stop and think about that last sip. A winner for a special occasion.
