Interesting bottle, not as complex as a grape-based dessert wine, and more subtle than a Port. Definitely worth trying, but watch out for the 15% alcohol! A conversation starter, since we definitely had disagreements as to whether this wine was good or not. Recommended as a novelty.

A very interesting port style wine made from pomegranates. I tried this with a small group of friends and the responses were all over the map from "wonderful" to "I wouldn't drink this again". I personally liked it very much, and found it smooth, with a fruity smokiness that I enjoyed immensely. I think that it is definitely worth trying and deciding for yourself!

We tried the Rimon Pomegranate Dessert wine while in Israel in January along with several other Pomegranate wines. It was by far our favorite. I prefer a lighter sweeter wine and this fit the bill
