General Information
Chateau Matras, a Grand Cru Classe, is located on a south-facing hillside in St. Emillion. Thanks to this ideal setting, the grapes always ripen to peak perfection.
The clay-limestone soil, mixed with iron pan, is planted with Cabernet Franc and Merlot grapes that produce a fine, soft wine with a delightful bouquet. This wine is aged for eighteen months before bottling in oak barrels.
60% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Franc.
