General Information
Golan Moscato was produced from Muscat Canelli grapes grown entirely in the cool climate, rocky volcanic soil and high altitude of the Golan Heights. Stopping the fermentation of the juice quite early results in a wine that is lightly sparkling, aromatic and sweet. Its relatively low alcohol content makes it unusually light and refreshing for a dessert wine. This wine is enjoyable as an aperitif and goes well with desserts. To preserve the quality of the wine, this bottle should be stored on its side in acool, dark place. Best served at 41 - 45 degrees F.

Ever since tasting this wine I haven't wanted to drink anything else. It's light, (sweet, but not sickening so) and low in alcohol content, making it a great wine for drinking not just as a desert wine, but as a recreational wine for those relaxing evenings at home or even when entertaining. Kosher aside, this wine is outstanding and my number one choice. I love this wine so much, I have determined my wine club memberships over the past several years based on whether or not they stock this wine.

Tasty, light, not-too-sweet, nicely effervescent. I highly recommend this wine.

This is the wine I used to wean my friends off of the Bartenura moscato (or "blue bottle" as everyone calls it). It really is one of the best Moscato D'asti's out there. It's a very sweet wine, but not overpoweringly so. You'll still feel like you're drinking wine and not bubbly sugar water.

This is amongst the best Moscato we have ever had. It is lightly sparkling, crisp, aromatic. drinking. Serving it ice cold brings out a wonderful flavor, fresh with a hint of complexity. It makes for a wonderful end to a summer evening.

Good moscato. Sweet but not over sweet. Has a peach flavor to it. Great with strawberries. We serve this with Shabbat dinner every week.

A beautiful version of the classic Moscato d'Asti, this one from the Golan Heights. Lightly frizzante, with wonderful flavor of apples throughout. Very fresh and fruity, this wine is a lot of fun, and will make a great summer drink.

YES! This is good stuff. Maybe Bartenura is a little more refined, but this wine is just fun. Isn't that what it's supposed to be?

Golan Moscato is a pleasant, sweet, lightly carbonated aperitif or desert wine that is a perfect compliment to smoked salmon, whitefish, cheese and fruit plates, cheesecakes and a variety of pastries. It is a nice gift and addition to any celebration or visit with friends, family, and acquaintances of all religious and ethnic persuasions. It is an ideal wine for those who normally don't enjoy dry wines for sipping or dining.

I found it to have a full flavor, and unlike other moscatos, it is not overly sweet. Sometimes the sweetness overpowers the flavor in moscatos, but not this one. 4.5 stars

This wine is one of the best of its kind. This wine is everything that the purchaser of a moscato expects. It is light, fruity, and palatable even to people who dont like wine. In its class, this wine is a winner.

From the aesthetic of the bottle - glass & label - to the delicate flavor, this wine is embodied by just one word: beautiful. Even as a Moscato this wine is unique, from its fruity (rather than sweet) flavor to its blanched straw color, this is an extremely enjoyable wine. From Shabbos morning kiddush to dessert and various stops in between, this wine is appropriate, enjoyable and appreciated by all, from adults to teens, from wine connoisseurs to grape juice aficionados. Compound that with the knowledge that you're supporting an Israeli winery, and this is a sure bet. Buy a case; it goes quickly. This remains the only wine I've bought that will be opened & finished by the end of any Shabbos or Yom Tov meal.

This is the best moscato out there. It's light and sweet. Pear and melon spring out along with a host of other fresh fruit flavors. But it's not at all "juice". Pure joy in a glass. This is the wine I give to my non wine drinking friends and family. They are always surprised to find that they love this wine! My all time favorite wine.

Nice white wine. One of my wife’s favorites. I personally like it for Kiddush and then I transition to something red. Golan and Carmel both make Moscato that we think are better than Bartenura. Go Israel!!

Very very fine moscato. Nice sweet taste with light sparkling. One of the best moscatos I have tasted, went down very well as a desert wine at the seder table. Its light alchoholic content was pleasing.

This wonderfully aromatic, light-bodied, low-alcohol, refreshing, sweet, slightly sparkling wine has aromas and flavors of tropical fruits, citrus, melons, floral notes, and a pleasant balancing acidity. As with all such "Moscato" wines, this is best served well chilled as either an aperitif or with dessert. Like the Carmel Moscato, this wine is an enjoyable take on the classic Moscato wine that can be found at every Jewish simcha. Beautiful and delicious, this is definitely worth a try. Drink within two years (at most) of the vintage stamp.
