General Information
This wine was crafted from the finest Cabernet Sauvignon grapes harvested from one of the most sought-after vineyards in the Southeastern Australia winemaking district. The enchanting ruby red appearance, coupled with intense berry, blackberry and subtle oak aromas lead into a rich, full-bodied palate, filled with ripe fruit, cassis, anise and spice flavors. The deep complexity of this supple, velvety smooth Cabernet linger in one's mouth. This wine may be enjoyed now, and should be kept in a cool, dry place to preserve its quality. This food-friendly wine pairs unbelievably well with full-flavored steaks, roasts and stir-fried chicken.

Vintage 2004
I last reviewed the 2003 vintage. What a difference a year makes. This vintage retains its nice fruity flavor, but is not as dry as I expected. Nor does it have the body you would like a good cabernet to have.
Still, it is a drinkable wine, but a good step down from 2003.

Nice color, very fruity, but absolutely no depth, no tannins, no body. Acceptable, but disappointing for a Reserve label.

Although only a mild aroma, I did like the full body. You can really taste the grapes with this one -- spicy with only a hint of oak.

I was surprised by the complete lack of character of this wine: no particular taste of grape, flower, berry, oak... just a neutral wine taste.

Completely ignore the back label on this one! This thoroughly simple, light to medium bodied dry red wine has flavors and aromas of cherry with a light but perceptible touch of anise and some chocolate mint in the background. The wine is palatable enough at present, but has almost no tannins and is definitely not meant for extended cellaring. Drink now.
