General Information
Yarden Sauvignon Blanc was produced from Sauvignon Blanc grapes with a small portion of Semillon, both grown entirely in the Golan Heights. The cool climate, rocky volcanic soil and high altitude are ideal conditions for growing classic wine grape varieties. Aging briefly in French oak barrels 2 months adds a light toastiness to the already complex fruit and herbaceous characters typical to the variety.

Upon first pour I was greeted with a bit of sulfur, which gave way to grapefruit and petroleum aromas. Buttery, rich, and full-bodied with a long elegant finish. This one's hard to beat for the price.

A little on the sweeter side that I would like, but this is still a good bottle of wine. Nice round melon flavors that go well with most salads or fish. Try the Gamla.

This is a delicious wine that goes well with any roasted meat, be it poultry or beef. Full, buttery flavor with a good nose once it is allowed to breathe for a few minutes. We recently served this at our daughters bat mitzvah shabbat celebration and received numerous compliments from even the most particular wine enthusiasts who were in attendance. We can't wait to serve this wine in our sukkah...
