A simple, basic dry red. Not a very strong bouquet, but some pitch black fruit and good acidity. An acceptable wine for cost conscious buyers.

Boldly fruity and plummy. The price makes it a good choice for everyday drinking, but nothing special here.

I really liked this wine last year, but it now seems to be going downhill fast. Having past it's peak, it now has a slightly astringent taste. While some bottles are still ok, the clock is clearly ticking - drink up.

It has a very dark color and a big plum or berry nose. It is a bit alcoholic at this time. That might go away with time. It is an excellent wine for the price of $4.99 each. It is full of fruit flavor and well blended between the Cabernet and Merlot. It takes on an almost Burgundy flavor as it opens up. I give it an 88-89 out of 100.

At this price, I don't think a better wine exists. I was extremely impressed with this wine, it pairs well with grilled steak and heavy pasta as well.

This was my first purchase from KosherWine.com, and has exemplified my experience with this website to this day (no matter when you're reading this): The price, taste, availability & consistency are all amazingly excellent! How often can you say that about ANYTHING these days? As a combined wine, each grape's flavor complements & enhances the other, creating a solidly satisfying drinking experience. The flavor, aroma, texture and overall 'drinkability' is consistently enjoyable, bottle after bottle. It's more of a 'shtarkeh' wine throughout, but never bitter, harsh or too heavy. I've given it as gifts many times, with unanimous praise no matter the palate. Beyond kiddush, I recommend this for sipping by a roaring fireplace blaze on a frozen New England winter's night.

Classic fruit bomb in the typical Australian style. Great taste, texture, and needs no breathing time at all. Great value, though the shelf-life is probably limited to the next year or so, before it flattens out.

I bought a case. Thank goodness I didn't serve it to friends before tasting it. I'm stuck using it myself now and it doesn't taste good, to people who are merlot and cabernet sauvignon drinkers. Save yourself.

This wine was fine. As a table red for a meal at home - it’s perfect. I wouldn’t break this one out for that special occasion. It does, however, have a plumy veneer with very strong hints of fruits like plum and blackberry.
