A nice wine, but some aging would benefit it.

I just tasted this at a wine tasting this evening. It was the best red I sampled, and I went back for more. Of note is that the price I would have had to pay for it locally was 70% greater than the Kosherwine.com regular price.

This is a rather watery blend without much nose, fruit that tastes almost like grape juice, no complexity, and no finish. Easy quaffer, but nothing to excite an even moderately serious wine drinker.

Less astringent than 2003, lacking tannins, nevertheless a very smooth, light, almost Beaujolais-like wine, round, easy, without significant character, yet pleasant... Slightly alcholic nose. Shomron Valley exclusive.

an interesting wine...pleasantly astringent... fresh, fruity, lively - with a long persistence on the
palate ... desirable

I had a few wine lovers over for dinner last weekend--the bottle was emptied within a few minutes after my guests poured themselves a small taste then came back for seconds! This wine was smooth and flavorful

This is an excelent light red wine.
If you like Gamay, this is like the Baron Herzog, but a bit lighter, not as much Tannin, but otherwise similar.
Great with chicken, salad, or a light snack of Feta cheese and tomato on a piece of french bread.
Nice taste of plum and rose and pear as its drank. Goes down very easily, so I'd advise buying a second bottle, as its not going to last your ocasion.
