General Information
Yarden Kela Vineyard Merlot was produced entirely from Merlot grapes grown in the Kela Vineyard, located in the northern Golan Heights at an altitude of 800 meters (2,600 feet). Planted in 1995 and 1996, this vineyard has given consistently excellent quality. Aging in French oak barrels for fourteen months supplies a background of oak to the wine's intense blackberry jam, fresh strawberry, warm spice, earth and light truffle notes.
