General Information
Yarden Tel Phares Vineyard Merlot was produced entirely from Merlot grapes grown in the Tel Phares Vineyard, located in the central Golan Heights at an altitude of 750 meters (2,500 feet). First planted in 1984, Tel Phares has long been identified with outstanding Merlot. The wine aged for fourteen months in French oak barrels and exhibits notes of ripe berries and cherries along with hints of olives and fresh herbs and nuances of earth.
