General Information
The origin of Lafon Rochet's vines goes back to the 17th century. The estate includes a single 100 acre block of vineyards in the distinguished Saint Estephe Grand Cru appellation, next to the estate of Lafite Rothschild. Lafon Rochet's vineyards are planted with 55% Cabernet Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, and 5% Cabernet Franc, producing wines of a rich and dense character that age gracefully.

Deep, brooding, and serious. A beautifull bottle, with years of greatness ahead of it. Needs to be cellared for quite awhile.

Thick, heavy and rich. This wine is built for greatness and will be fantastic in 4-7 years. You can cheat and drink it in 2009! Fantastic!
