General Information
Chateau Matras, a Crand Cru Classe, is located on a south-facing hillside in St. Emilion. Thanks to this ideal setting, the grapes always ripen to peak perfection.
The clay-limestone soil, mixed with iron pan, is planted with Cabernet Franc and Merlot grapes that produce a fine, soft wine with a delightful bouquet. This wine is aged for eighteen months in oak barrels before bottling.
