This vintage is quite different than the earlier vintage I reviewed. Almost all of the taste is with the aftertaste, but it is an excellent finish. The aroma is also much better with a deep purple color.

11/27/10 - Fully body and extremely tannic, but not overly complex. OK if you want a muscular dry red, but nothing special.

This merlot has a good body, and is very dry and spicey. But it lacks any other flavor. I got no berry or fruit taste whatsoever. It is an acceptable wine, but there are better ones out there.

A pretty good merlot. Easy to drink pretty smooth too. it's right for the price. You do feel that this is mevushal, which makes it a cheaper wine.

A very decent, middle-of-the-road merlot, and versatile enough to pair with most pasta / fish / light meat meals. This wine would be overpowered by a steak or similar.

Good, smooth, and supple, but nothing exciting.

Had this for my second cup during the seder. I remember having this after the segal's merlot and this one didn't have as powerful a nose but was still decent. The mouthfeel was more watery but if you like thinner wines, it's good for you. A solid wine that I'd rate lower but at the price point, a solid buy.

Very pleasant flavors of dark fruit and mild chocolate and spice. Smooth and aromatic. Great value!!

For the price this is not a bad Merlot. However, I found this wine to be unmemeorable, even after having it over Pesach at several different meal.

We had this wine set out at all the tables at our wedding because its a simple crowd pleaser. The wine itself is not complex but it is also not boring since each time I open a bottle I taste different flavors. Drink now, as this wine will not age well.
