General Information
Baron Herzog Chardonnay is a blend of Central Coast and Russian River Chardonnay grapes. This blend has produced a very lush and complex wine. Baron Herzog Chardonnay displays notes of tropical fruit, citrus, and apple, with a hint of vanilla on the finish. It pairs perfectly with fish, chicken, or veal dishes and should be served slightly chilled.

This is a very dry, very drinkable wine. Though not as flavorful as some, it does maintain its crispness. It is a good wine for dinner.

Plain, fresh, and fruity. Could use a tad more oak.

Not overly fond of this one. Not very interesting, but it is clean and fruity.

Very aggressive wine that should mellow out with time. Slightly smoky nose with tropical fruit flavors, mainly pineapple, on the mouth. An awkward initial palate feel that improves with drinking. This should improve over the next 2 years.

Apple and tropical flavors. Very good for the money. Surprisingly zippy for being mevushal.

Soft white peach overtones. Great with poultry, fish and white sauce dishes. Great wine for all occasions.

This is a smooth Chardonnay. Very different flavor than their special reserve. Pleasant aroma and smooth finish.
