Gamla Cabernet Sauvignon
Vintage 2003
A good value for the price. Tasty and relatively fruity, finish is OK. Gamla's Merlot is probably better for the price.

Gamla Merlot
Vintage 2003
Fruity and smooth yet dry enough, a delicious merlot for the price.

Gamla Pinot Noir
Vintage 2004
Nice vanilla and pepper notes, somewhat fruity. An excellent value for the price--tastes like the Yarden, only lighter.

Verbau Cabernet Sauvignon
Vintage 2001
Perhaps I had a bad bottle. I found this cabernet quite thin and watery, and had an odd, sort of sweaty taste to it.

Herzog Special Reserve Alexander Valley Merlot
Vintage 2002
Quite a tasty merlot. Fruity yet balanced, rich, and dry. Not quite sure it is worth the price, however.

Yarden Pinot Noir
Vintage 2003
A rich and full-flavored pinot. Serve on the cool side. Worth the price for a special occasion or Shabbos.

Yarden Mount Hermon Red
Vintage 2006
A nice and well-balanced, if young, wine. Very enjoyable, drinkable, and pleasant. Even though this is not the most complex wine, it is quite a good value.

Goose Bay Pinot Noir
Vintage 2006
Shared this wine with a few people; most thought it tasted like raspberry-flavored seltzer. This seems odd, considering the positive reviews on this site. I would try it again and hope for better.

Yarden Syrah
Vintage 2002
This is a rich, dark wine. It is somewhat spicy and not fruity, and is quite high in tannins. The finish is delicious and will stay on your palate for hours.

Baron Herzog Red Zinfandel
Vintage 2005
Not bad for the price! It tastes dry, fruity, and spicy, and gets slighty sweet in the aftertase. Went pretty well with cholent.

Efron's Cave Triple Plum Label
Vintage 2003
Thin, watery, and off-balance. Not recommended.

Yarden Cabernet Sauvignon
Vintage 2002
A delicious, full-bodied, hearty wine. Tastes as a cabernet should.

Teperberg Shiraz
Vintage 2005
I found this Shiraz relatively weak and thin. It did not have much complexity, but it was somewhat tasty.

Baron Herzog Cabernet Sauvignon
Vintage 2004
A decent entry-level cabernet. Nothing special--lacks the body, richness, and finish of more expensive bottles.

Verbau Gewurztraminer
Vintage 2002
A refreshing and slightly sweet, well-balanced wine, and a good value. Recommended.

Chateau Malmaison Moulis-en-Medoc Cru Bourgeois
Vintage 2001
Flavorful and fruity. Not terribly rich, but quite good.

Ramon Cardova Rioja
Vintage 2004
A simple, smooth, fruity wine. Nothing special, but not shabby either.

Recanati Barbera
Vintage 2004
A decent, fruity, simple wine. Nothing too complex here, but enjoyable.

Recanati Cabernet Sauvignon
Vintage 2006
A simple, light-bodied cabernet.

Hagafen Pinot Noir
Vintage 2005
A smooth pinot with nice berry and vanilla aromas. Especially good for a mevushal wine.
