Winemaker Pierre Miodownik is a trailblazer for kosher wines, making the first kosher wine for Chateau Giscours in Bordeaux in 1993, the first kosher Sauternes for Château Piada and the first quality kosher white Burgundy. In 2006 Miodownik began a new project, planting vines in the foothills of Mount Tabor to craft a collection of quality wines inspired by France’s Rhone Valley under the Netofa label.
