    Jezreel Valley Winery

Jezreel Valley Winery combines the best of the modern-day Israeli entrepreneurial spirit with winemaking tradition utilizing true Mediterranean varieties. Founded in 2012 by Jacob Ner-David and Yehuda Nahar, Jezreel Valley has quickly established itself as a premier winery creating a new world of authentic Israeli wine.

    Jezreel Valley Wines

    Jezreel Gewürztraminer

A semi-dry white wine from the wonderful Gewürztraminer grape. The grapes were gently pressed and fermented in a slow, cold fermentation to maintain the flavors of the fruit. The quality of the fruit combined with the precise process resulted in a rich interesting wine with aromas of lychee, and peach blossoms. Tropical fruit flavors with delicate sweetness.

    Jezreel Pet-Nat Sparkling Rosé

Naturally sparkling dry Rosé wine. A light and refreshing Rosé with wonderful aromas and fruit flavors. Made from Carignan grapes harvested early and gently pressed. Carignan is an ancient grape in Israel which fits perfectly to the Israeli climate. The light fizz is a product of the wine being bottled before primary fermentation is finished. The wine ferments in the bottle and is unfiltered, and natural precipitation might appear in the bottle giving the wine a fascinating and surprising development. Jezreel is a pioneer in Pet-Nat winemaking in Israel.

    Jezreel Alfa

A blend of 60% Syrah, 20% Argaman, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon: A new unique blend from Jezreel Valley Winery. Each varietal was handpicked, fermented and aged in French oak barrels for 14 months. The wine is characterized by aromas of black and white pepper, nutmeg, cloves and caramel. It is rich in flavors of berries, cocoa, and coffee, and pleasant with a long finish. Best served with light meat and poultry dishes and pairs great with Mediterranean cuisine.

The wine is named for Beit Alfa; an ancient Jewish community in the Jezreel Valley. The Beit Alfa synagogue is an archeological site from the Second Temple period. The site is famous for its mosaics and is a testimony to the existence of ancient Jewish life in the Valley. ALFA is part of the Jezreel Winery tribute series to Jewish history in the Jezreel Valley.

    Jezreel Nahalal

A blend of 60% Syrah and 40% Carignan, a new Mediterranean blend. A new Mediterranean blend. Each varietal was handpicked, then fermented and aged each separately in French wood barrels for 14 months. The wine is characterized by aromas of berries and strawberries. It has a very soft tannins and medium body, rich taste, refreshing acidity, and a long finish. It has a

presence but is pleasant to drink. Nahalal is best served with light meat or dairy meals and pairs well with the Mediterranean cuisine. Nahalal was the first Moshav in the land of Israel. Nahalal was established in 1921 by pioneer settlers to Israel. Many of the leading figures from Israeli history and society, such as Hannah Senesh, Moshe Dayan, Yonatan Geffen, Meir Shalev and many others came from Nahalal. It is a symbol of pioneering Jewish settlement in the Jezreel Valley. The wine was created as a tribute to the pioneer settlers in the Jezreel Valley. Nahalal is part of Jezreel Valley Winery tribute series to the ancient Jewish settlement and the return of the modern Jewish society to the Jereel Valley.

    Jezreel Valley Rosé

Jezreel Valley Rosé is a masterful blend of 70% Syrah and 30% Carignan. Each variety was fermented in a slow cold fermentation without extraction. This unique combination, together with the gentle extraction method, produces a very aromatic and fruit-forward Rosé with nice acidity and a long clean finish. This wine is light and refreshing with balanced acidity and wonderful fruit aromas. Pairs well with salads.

    Jezreel Valley Adumim

60% Syrah, 25% Carignan, 15% Argaman, an Israeli variety. The grapes were handpicked into small containers without compression and sorted carefully. The wine then went through a delicate soaking process to extract aroma and color, was gently pressed and transferred into a cold, mild fermentation. Each varietal was aged separately for 18 months. After mixing the different varietals, the wine rested in barrels for two additional months until it was bottled. The result is a fruity and elegant wine with deep burgundy color. It has power and presence, but it is

pleasant and easy to drink. The wine has prominent aromas of black fruits, spices and a hint of toasted wood. This wine is full-bodied, balanced and has a long finish. This unique and original wine of the Jezreel Valley Winery is a true Israeli blend.

Jezreel Single Vineyard and Reserve Series:

    Jezreel Valley Single Vineyard Syrah

The volcanic, rocky soil, mixed with terra-Rossa soil, gives the ideal conditions for a classic Syrah. This single Syrah was handpicked, kept at low temperatures for a five-day cold soak and gently fermented with a mixture of pump-overs and delestage for three weeks. Finally, it was

gently pressed into barrels for malolactic fermentation and aging in French oak barrels (50% new oak). A 22-month aging on lees gives this Syrah a big, round and rich mouthfeel. Aromas of black pepper, mixed with tastes of roasted wood, offer a classic, balanced and concentrated

    Syrah.

    Jezreel Valley Single Vineyard Argaman
