Yarden Cabernet Sauvignon 2011

Yarden Cabernet Sauvignon is made from a number of the finest Cabernet vineyards in the Golan Heights. The wine aged in French oak barrels for 18 months. Yarden Cabernet Sauvignon exhibits ripe red and black fruit characters layered with hints of earth, spices and French oak. Full-bodied and aromatic, this wine is complex and elegant. Though enjoyable upon release, the Yarden Cabernet Sauvignon will improve significantly with a few more years of bottle aging, and will remain in excellent drinking condition for 10-15 years and beyond. The wine goes wonderfully with full-flavored dishes such as an herb-crusted leg of lamb, pan-seared ribeye steaks, or duck braised in Merlot with shiitake mushrooms.

Unbelievable. Silky soft mouth. Dark fruit and chocolate with a nice smooth finish. If you can find any, buy, or at least tell me about it so I can.

Ok you are not going to here about fruit and chocolate here. No blueberry blackberry or dingleberry. Here are the facts. I have been buying multi cases of this wines since 2004. Not a long time but that's when I started drinking real wine. Long story short I think the 2010 taste better than all of the other years. Sounds strange but true. So if you care about how good a wine taste vs if it reminds you of a fruit market then buy this wine. Strange it is out of stock already ????? Obviously other people feel the same way

While I loved the 2003, this wine was underwhelming. The bottle I tasted was imbalanced, heavy on the oak, to the detriment of the fruit.

Drinkable bottle with plush cabernet flavors. I liked it better now than the 2003.
