Casa Del Cielo Reserve Malbec/Syrah is marked by an exceptional acidity and complexity. It enjoys delicate aromatic notes of fresh prunes and cerise mix. On the palate, this wine carries a silky texture with notes of chocolate, blackberries and hints of tobacco capped off by a long and pleasurable finish. Pairs well with leaner meats and pasta.

Exceptionally good wine for the price. The Malbec/Syrah blend is a welcome change from Cabs and Merlots. Note that it is non-mevushal, so it should improve with age.

Wow! I was unsure what to expect for the price, especially as I do not find many of the Chilean reds on the market particularly enjoyable, but this really blew me away. Near perfect balance; beautiful berry notes with just the slightest hint of tannin to add some complexity. While the wine did not seem to breathe well, and should be consumed within a few hours of opening, this was a really fantastic table wine.

Most dry reds give me and my children a nasty, bitter aftertaste (obviously something genetic, since my wife and guests do not get that), this, however, is delicious. It goes into the rotation for kiddush and as a table wine.

This is our favorite Friday night wine. It's illogical that one of the most economical kosher wines is also the best tasting.
