How did Yarden Start?

Yarden’s Golan Heights Winery was founded in 1983 by eight local kibbutzim and moshavim communities. Today the project produces a wide variety of different wine styles ranging from easy-going entry level wines to opulent single vineyard bottlings which have the potential to age for decades in the cellar.

What is Yarden most known for?

Yarden’s wines highlight the unique character of the Golan Heights which boasts prime volcanic soils, long hot days and cooler nights. These exceptional growing conditions are bolstered by Yarden’s sustainable approach to viticulture and a light touch in the winery which allows the natural beauty of the grapes to shine through.
