Maybe I got a couple of inferior bottles, but what we drank was nowhere near the wine we'd enjoyed in the past. The sweetness was barely noticeable, and it was replaced by a tartness that wasn't exactly unpleasant, but was out of place in a moscato. Perhaps it had been damaged by heat...

All ladies in my house love this wine. It is light and a little bit hubble-bubble, after you swallow it sweetness is on your tongue. It will light up your mood.

Second wow along with Bartenura Moscato. Good stuff. Try a bottle. You'll be back.

This is an excellent Moscato especially at this price. I regularly use Joyvin or Bartenura for kiddush. This wine seems more balanced and refined than other two. I highly reccomend it.

This is a good Muscato. Much better than Bartenura. It is relatively simple but smooth and well-balanced.

Sweet and light. No syrup here. Tastes like a moscato wine should taste. One of my favorites.

Served this wine at our Seder and it got rave reviews. For starters, the taste is more succulent than Bartenura's Moscato and is a few dollars cheaper.

This Moscato is the perfect blend of light, bubbly sweetness & white wine. Whereas most Moscatos are typified by their sweetness & effervescence - and little else - the Carmel has achieved the balance of not too sweet, not too dry, not too bland and not overly carbonated while also maintaining its consistency throughout the entire bottle. Add to that surprise the fact that it's from Carmel - from whom I haven't come to expect high quality in previous wines - and this becomes a satisfying and pleasantly anticipated selection throughout. At its sale price, I would buy several bottles to keep on hand for those wine drinkers too finicky for most mainstream wines.

This is a quite acceptable alternative to the Bartenura Moscato for those who prefer to purchase an Israeli wine. I found it slightly less effervescent than the Bartenura but otherwise quite similar. For a dinner party I would open the Carmel as the second bottle. It also works great in mimosas for brunch!

A pleasant, fruity, semi-sweet, lightly effervescent spumonti-style muscato...low alcohol....a festive "family wine."

Very fruity, quite sweet, a wine for people who don't like wines. (Our granddaughter age 5 months loved it). (She doesn't care for cabs.) At $6.99 a big bargain. At full price I would prefer the Golan Moscato - it is more sophisticated.

Wow! What a great taste of a sweet wine. Was hooked on Moscato D'Asti by Bartenura till this one came out to the market, a very rare bottle to find.

Very limey. Excellent apricot flavor. Very tasty, sweet and honey like. Fresh and full of citrus. I give it a 97 out of 100.

This is a lovely, light and delicately sweet desert wine that will go well alone or with goat cheese, brie, smoked salmon, a baked brie en croute with or without fruit, berries or semi-sweet cookies. It has a slight, natural carbonation.

This delicious, semi-dry, light bodied, slightly sparkling, refreshing, bright and clean white wine works both as an aperitif and as an a dessert accompaniment; with aromas and flavors of peaches, apples, pears, apricots, lemons and hints of ginger and litchi. Not overly complex, but a delightful and playful spin on the classic “Moscato di Asti” wines that seem to pervade every Jewish celebration and festive occasion. Definitely worth a try; drink now.

A popular crowd pleaser, this bubbly muscat wine has given the Israeli wine buying public an alternative to the Italian Muscato. The bubbles are strong upon first opening, but calm down to a great dessert wine with low alcohol. Not overly sweet, a fine overall effort by Carmel.
