A good merlot for the money. It really needs to breathe a good 90 minutes unless you decant it with an aerator. Chocolate is the dominant flavor on the palate with a very nice fruity finish.

Very good for a Merlot in this price range. I drank the 2012 for the four cups on the second night of passover. It was much better of 2012 compared to the Cabernet by Galil of the same vintage. A nice long finish to tip it off. Not overly overpowering. Nice aromas of dark fruit. An excellent choice Merlot for the price!

Pleasant, but not overly complex. Some fruit more or less in balance with tannins that could be a little less harsh. For the price, not a bad wine though.

This wine is good value for the $$, though I found the Cab to be a better buy. The wine was full-bodied, and could complement even a strongly-flavored dish.

This is a fairly good merlot for its price. I found this wine rather simple though: medium body with some degree of bitters in aftertaste. Definitely a rich bouquet. Again, for the discounted price it was a real bargain.
