The Clos des Menuts is a French red wine produced in the Saint Emilion region . It is a masterfully crafted blend of 85% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 5% Cabernet Franc. This full-bodied wine is aged in French oak barrels for at least 18 months. Clos des Menuts is an excellent wine with intense aromas of red and black berries, different layers of complexity on the palate with a long finish of fruit, smoke and vanilla. It is a text book Saint-Emilion Grand Cru, excellent for food pairing. For collectors: great aging potential.
