Description

This rich and flavorful Israeli blend is made from Syrah and Petite Sirah grapes grown in the Judean foothills west of Jerusalem. The grapes are hand-harvested at night then aged in oak before bottling. This wine has a rich garnet coloring that has a translucent appearance without any cloudiness. The aroma is rich and fruity with loud cherry scents and black pepper that adds a spice to the nose. Subtle woody undertones can be detected with other natural smells. The wine is full bodied with lots of heavy red fruits, spice, and new world flavors. This wine is very dry and very acidic, but low in tannins. The finish is present and lingers in a very pleasant manner. This blend might be too blunt for some, but anyone that enjoys big wines will like this.
