The Koenig winery, widely considered to be the first winery in France to produce Kosher wines, is located in Alsace, France. Known for producing wines that offer good value for money, Koenig focuses on the white varietals that excel in the Alsatian climate.

Their Kosher productions under the OU and the Strasbourg Beth-Din include a Riesling, Gewurtztraminer and Crement d’Alsace; in the past their Pinot Gris and Pinot Blanc were available in the U.S. but they are no longer imported.

Koenig wines consistently get good reviews from critics and wine enthusiasts alike, and make for a good pairing with Asian and spicy cuisine as well as cheese.
