Capcanes Peraj Petita Dolce 2012

Description

The Capcanes Peraj Petita Dolce is a late harvest blend of 85% Garnacha and 15% Samso grapes and aged 20 months in French Oak barrels. This rich wine is packed with big flavors and ripe fruits likes plums, cassis, dark cherries, and coffee. The strong fruit flavors are harmoniously balanced with good alcohol and lively acidity. The sugars are well integrated and soft ripe tannins afford this wine great structure. The wine is a sweet dessert wine, but its relatively low sugar level makes it the appropriate accompaniment to rich main courses such as roast beef or other dishes with strong bitter or smoky flavors.
