The vineyard enjoyed a remarkable year, courtesy of abundant winter rainfall that replenished its water reserves, and gentle spring weather that encouraged the vines' growth. Despite a scorching summer, the vines remained resilient, thanks to the estate teams' meticulous attention and ample water reserves. The teams implemented additional measures to protect the fruit clusters from the sun, such as adding mulch between the vines, minimal soil tilling, and reduced leaf pruning. The mid-August tempests provided a boost to the vines' vegetative cycle, resulting in their thriving until the harvest. The outcome is a splendid medley of black and red fruits, such as blackberries, blueberries, strawberries, and raspberries, with a potent and vibrant aromatic expression backed by a sharp tannic structure.
