Chateau Larrivaux Haut Medoc 2020

Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2020 Larrivaux features baked berries, warm cassis and herbs with pencil shavings and olive notions on the nose. Full, rich and concentrated, it has firm, grainy tannins with nice freshness and great lengths. Located in Haut-Medoc, Chateau Larrivaux is a wine estate founded in the 16th century. Established on land where nothign existed before, the mansion and vineyard were erected against all odds. The peculiarity of this estate is that it has been run passed down from mother to daughter since 1580.
