Chateau Lilian Ladouys is a Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel (the top Cru Bourgeois classification) whose deep commitment to organic agriculture is driven by the Lorenzetti family’s passion & the knowledge of the estate’s teams. In 2020, the family has rubber-stamped this commitment: from 2020 onwards, they are officially in conversion to full organic practice. Our vines are planted on over 80 hectares of the Cos plateau, along the axis that links Calon Ségur to Lilian Ladouys. Thriving in gravel topsoil over clay and limestone, our vineyards have benefited from a substantial land consolidation effort since the Lorenzetti family's acquisition.This forms coherent plot clusters with selected grape varieties, echoing 19th-century vineyards and recreating optimal conditions for full vineyard potential.Juicy, well balanced, plenty of personality, with enough juice through the mid palate to balance out the big tannins The finish closes in sharply, but this is an enjoyable wine from the Lorenzetti-
