Ella Valley Ever Red Blend 2018

Description

The Ella Valley Red is a blend of estate grown grapes with 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 33% Merlot, and 7% Petite Syrah. The vineyard is located in the Ella Valley, a fertile growing region in the rolling hills just south of Beit Shemesh in Israel. They are night-harvested and then aged in French Oak Barrels that give lots of character to the finished product. The coloring of the wine is dark purple with no translucency. Strong aromas fill the nose with blueberries and concentrated blackberry, followed by strong oak. The wine is characteristically big, and fills the mouth. Strong oak tastes meet with high acidity and intense character. This wine is meant for those that enjoy big flavors and very dry wines. It is recommended to let the wine breath before enjoying. Recommended pairing with hearty or seasoned meat dishes.
