Louis Blanc Crozes-Hermitage - Library Wine Collection 2015

The Louis Blanc Crozes-Hermitage is produced in the northern Rhone Valley in France. This area helps to give this wine it's color. It is a medium purple color in the middle then a lighter bright purple on the rim. This wine is very clear, not cloudy but bright. The aromas are really nice, super jammy and earthy. It almost has a burnt quality, a cross between a toasted marshmallow and a burnt earthy aroma. The wine smells a bit syrupy, but in a good way. There are aromas also of red fruits such as cranberries and raspberries. The mouth is great, light bodied, really balanced with acid, tannins and sweetness. The wine just sits wonderfully on the tongue after you swallow with a light to medium finish. Overall a really great wine.
