The grapes are sourced from one of our most coveted parcels on the property, prized for producing dense, voluptuous, and complex fruit. This wine is remarkable in every way, boasting profound aromas and superb textures yielding a sumptuous, well-balanced wine. On the nose, exquisite fragrances of summer raspberries, blueberries, black cherries, and a hint of bergamot are punctuated by nuances of vanilla, dried herbs, and cigar box. On the palate, the wine greets you with balanced, full-bodied, yet silky tannins, followed by generous layering and depth. The finish is ample and lingering, leaving you with flavors of dark chocolate, cassis, and blackberries. Very approachable wine upon release with 2-3 hours of decanting. Cellaring this wine 3-5 years will be beneficial and can easily age 30+ years.
