Barrel fermented, this Grenache-driven rosé gets some oomph and complexity from this rather uncommon process. Slightly orange-ish pink in color, with a refreshing nose of fresh white flowers, guava, raspberries, strawberries and passion fruit. Medium-bodied, dry, the palate shows some viscosity alongside notes of fresh ripe strawberries, guava, white peaches, passion fruit, medium acidity and a hint of orange zest coming along with tart cherries on a moderately long finish. Naveh Pink is a Grenache based rosé. The grapes are hand-picked from select plots on our estate vineyards in the southern Golan Heights. The soil, which sits 400 meters above sea level, is volcanic and rich in clay. The grapes are crushed and set to settle for a few hours before pressing. The resulting pink must ferments spontaneously in old barrels and after three months of aging is filtered and bottled.
