O'Dwyers Creek Pinot Noir 2016

O'Dwyers Creek Vineyard is located in Marlborough, New Zealand which has the perfect climate and soil type for its Pinot Noir. It has a super light purple color, a touch towards ruby, but the lightness of the color really makes it stick out. The wine has very floral aroma with hints of strawberries, cherries, maybe even some roses. You can smell the oak, but its nice oak and a touch of dark chocolate. It has really nice aromas, very new world, light bodied and bursting fruit in the mouth such as raspberries, cherries. The wine is light on the acid and tannins all the way through. Although there is a touch of bitter at the end it has a soft finish.
