Tassi Brunello Montalcino Bettina Cuvee Franci Riserva 2016

The Franci family, raised in Montalcino for many generations, started its business by the patriarch of the family Guido Franci. From 2004 wine production was started under the name of the two families as Tassi and Franci. Franci Franca winery, run by his son is strongly bonded with Montalcino's territory since it's origin. It's wine clearly expresses its tie to the land with elegance and uniqueness. The richness of the soil and meticulous care of the vineyard have made this estate one of the finest in the Montalcino region. The Brunello di Montalcino is intense with a soft nose of blackberries and smoke. On the palate is a complex and multi layered aromatic creation of blackberries, wild cherry, wood, leather, vanilla with a herbal touch. The wine has impeccable structure with strong tannins and well integrated acidity. This wine ages in 20-hectorliter oak casks for over 30 months.
