The Yaacov Oryah Pretty as the Moon is quintessential Oryah winemaking. This rosé is a blend of Rhône red varietals that was initially intended to become a blanc de noirs. True to Yaacov’s winemaking style, however, he allowed the grapes and the process to evolve naturally, and when the wine developed more color than anticipated, it ultimately became a rosé. The wine offers more texture and complexity than a typical rosé and can be enjoyed for 1–2 years from the vintage date. Expect floral and berry notes framed by lively acidity, minerality, and a subtle herbaceous edge.
