Harvest for the Malbec took place on March 13th of 2018 from a single vineyard in the Hemel en Aarde region. The bunches were entirely destemmed and remained on the skin for 14 days until dry. Aged in a plastic egg with toasted French staves for 11 months. The Malbec was racked once off the gross lees and remained on the fine lees for the remainder of its ageing.
