This wine has been produced from Bittuni grapes, an ancient variety of grapes indigenous to Israel. The grapes were discovered and devloped through years of research by Dr. Shivi Drori, the chief winemaker of Gvaot. As part of the development, the vines are arranged in the form of a chalice and gronw without irrigation. The wine was aged 12 months in French barrels. The characteristics of this wine are red-fruited, light yet complex.
