Grown in a valley in the Upper Galilee 790 metres above sea level, Amuka wines are aged in oak for 6 months and are bursting with fresh fruit flavors.
Marom
These wines are crafted from grapes grown at around 800 metres of altitude in the hills above the village of Or Haganuz where they obtain delicious fruity flavors and added complexity from the 12-14 months of oak ageing.
Namura
Matured in oak barrels for up to 24 months, these sophisticated wines begin life in the Namura valley at the foot of Mt. Meron where conditions are ideal for crafting exceptional Old World-style red wines.

How did Or Haganuz Start?
The winery was founded by the Or Haganuz Jewish community in 2005 as a small boutique producer of good quality kosher wines. The community strives in all they do to follow the words of Rabbi Akiva; "Love your fellow man as you love yourself." Members of the community work together in the winery to harvest grapes from their well-placed vineyards in and around the village of Or Haganuz and to produce a wide range of kosher wines ranging from easy-drinking classics to magnificent age-worthy reds.
What is Or Haganuz most known for?
Or Haganuz is a boutique winery producing no more than 400,000 bottles per vintage. This means that each bottle is made with great care and attention to detail, enabling the winery to produce consistently high quality wines each year. They are also well known for their organic practices and their high-quality wine with no sulfites.
French Blend is made in a classic Old World style from Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot and matured in oak barrels for 20 months.
Horkenus is the flagship wine from Or Haganuz, an opulent Bordeaux-style blend which is produced in tiny quantities and matured in oak barrels for 40 months.
