    The Rechasim range is composed of premium single vineyard wines which capture the very best of the local Gaililean terroir and are matured in American, French and Central European oak barrels.

    Segal’s Unfiltered wines are bottled without undergoing filtration which helps them to retain all of the delicious natural character of the grapes.

    These rich and complex wines are crafted from the very first juice to flow from the grapes before pressing, creating a very pure and refined expression of each individual grape variety.

    How did Segal’s start?

    Segal’s story begins in 1787 when Yaakov Hirsch Segal founded the family’s first winery in Russia. Generations later the Segal family emigrated to Israel and established a pioneering new winery in Galilee which continues to make delicious and innovative Israeli wines to this day. The winery is now owned by Barkan, one of Israel’s most famous and most successful wine brands.
