J. Folk Rose in a Can

Description

Striking pink in color, with on the noseripe raspberries, watermelon,red cherries, and black plums. A light to medium-bodied, dry, fruit-forward rosé, with flavors of crunchy plums, Morello cherries, juicy grapefruit, watermelon, papaya, and ripe strawberries, refreshing acidity with a mouth-watering finish. In the Western Cape of South Africa at the most north westerly area of the country, with the advantage of a cool breeze off the Atlantic Ocean and low rainfall, the vineyard produces grape varieties complimented by the areas climate. A blend of Shiraz and Chardonnay. Hand-picked in March, at the later stages of the harvest, then directly pressed with fermentation taking place in stainless steel tanks. The wines were delicately blended to maintain the desired quality.
