The grapes for Sorrento are harvested by hand and the various vineyards are vinified separately. Sorrento has a spicy, fruity flavor with hints of barrels, dark cherries, sage, currants, chocolate and vanilla. Montepulciano is best enjoyed with hearty, savory dishes, such as beef brisket, hamburgers, beef bolognese, tagliatelle, ragu, and high protein pizzas.
